Luxury‑Level All‑Around Talent

This gelding is a luxury‑level, show‑you‑the‑ropes partner with exceptional user‑friendliness. He has spent countless hours turned loose with our less-than-green 8-year-old niece to gather the pasture’s cattle, as well as been her summer ride at the rodeos to play cowgirl on. As a result, riders feel balanced and secure thanks to his smooth, rhythmic gaits. Furthermore, he stays steady both in the arena and outside of it. He excels in NRHA reining, ranch riding, bareback, bridle-less, trail riding, working cattle, western dressage, and English mount work. On top of that, he is a natural on a cow, which makes him an ideal Working Cow Horse prospect.

Smooth, Correct, and Show‑Pen Ready

In the show pen, Alpha stands out immediately whether in the reining or the ranch riding. He is an NRHA $$$ Earner in the youth 10 and under short stirrup, the green reiner, and the limited open class! He very willingly guides; his spins are clean and polished; his stops are effortless; and he awaits his transitions. Because of this, he presents a picture that judges notice has a cool trot in the ranch classes and a level-headed carriage. His expression and movement draw everyone’s attention the moment he enters the arena.

We have also started him in the heeling, he loves cattle and is a BIG stopper!

Dependable and Thoughtful on the Trail

Outside the arena, Alpha continues to impress with his steady, sure‑footed trail presence. Not only does he cross obstacles thoughtfully, but he also watches his feet with intention. Riders appreciate how he takes care of them in every situation. He will even side‑pass to the coffee truck and share an apple Danish. During overnight camping trips, he relaxes by the fire and enjoys s’mores. Moreover, he is reliable on rugged terrain, narrow creeks, bridges, and has even enjoyed the Yellowstone River.

Elite Pedigree and Proven Genetics

Alpha’s pedigree is exceptional. He is the son of Wimpy Chic, an NRHA earner of over $100,000 and sire of multiple money‑earners. Even more impressively, he is the grandson of Wimpy’s Little Step, NRHA’s leading living sire with over $13 million in offspring earnings. Consequently, he carries elite performance bloodlines that support his natural ability.
