Buddy is a 6-year-old gelding by the great Team Roping, Cowhorse 4mil+ sire Hickory Holly Time, offering both pedigree and versatility. He is extremely gentle, kind-natured, and easy to be around, making him a great fit for a wide range of riders—including youth and less experienced ropers/ riders. Buddy has the disposition and mind that make him safe and trustworthy, with the kind of personality you can enjoy every day.

He’s been started right with a solid reining cow horse foundation and is coming along nicely in the breakaway roping, showing all the tools to be a big-time competitor. With his natural cow sense and athletic ability, he would also make an outstanding sorting or penning horse.

Outside of the arena, Buddy has been used in all phases of ranch work. He’s been ridden in the pasture, used for gathering, sorting, and general day work, and handles it all with a calm, willing attitude. He’s sure-footed, dependable, and comfortable covering country, making him a horse you can count on whether you’re at a jackpot or out on the ranch.

Buddy is the kind of all-around gelding that’s hard to find—talented enough to compete, yet gentle and broke enough for the whole family to enjoy.
