Hombre stops people in their tracks when he walks by. Absolutely one of the most adorable geldings we have owned! He has a stout bulldog build, a pretty head, shines brighter than a new penny with lots of chrome, and proudly wears the Center Ranch Brand! He oozes excellence and confidence and exceeds all expectations. He is sired by the infamous $11.6 Million dollar sire Woody Be Tuff out of (LTE $176,086 and PE $970K+) mare Lucindas Catalina. Full brothers and sisters of this cross have dominated in the performance arena. Hombre is no exception, Cutting, Heading, Heeling, Ranch Versatility, on the ranch and on the trails. In and out of the arena, he is kind, gentle, and easy to ride and maneuver. He delivers excellence every time!

Seasoned, ready-to-go MONEY WINNING rope horse in the heading and heeling. Riata Buckle, Royal Crown, World Series Finals, Rodeos you name he has been ridden there with several different riders. Easy to rope on, he scores well behind the barrier, flat-footed, leaves off your hand, runs to the spot, and carries himself across the arena with a snappy face! He makes the corner in the heeling, lets you see his feet, and stops nicely and easily. Hombre can turn it on and then drop your reins and walk off!

Hombre is fancy broke and loves to work and handle cattle and buffalo. But he also enjoys his rides to and around town to enjoy a good cup of coffee, a cookie or two, and, most of all, the excellent company of anyone who stops to say hi. Always there for the assist, he curb side mounts from anything you can climb up on. From around the ranch, full of working dogs, drones, flying tarps, and large and small equipment to the bright lights and sounds of the rodeo arena, there isn’t much Hombre has seen and taken in with ease.
In the Ranch Versatility and SHOT shows, Hombre would be the judge’s pick; he will lope slow and pretty, or if you ask for more, it’s there. A beautiful extended trop, natural low headset, a significant lead change, turn around, and stops! He is also a sweet-cutting horse; he can read cattle, is quiet in the herd, and will get in the ground and straight on his ends. Laid back and willing to do whatever you ask of him. He doesn’t require a lot of riding to stay broke and in the bridle, and he saddles up the same even with time off.

He’s great for anyone who thoroughly enjoys a relaxing ride out on the trails, or you can take him for a spin gathering your cattle on the ranch. The last couple of years, we have taken him up into the backcountry camping; he has been used on the picket line, hobbled, seen a lot of big game, crosses water and all obstacles and had to drink out of the fresh mountain creeks. We have used Hombre in so many ways. He is an asset to many programs. He loves everyone, and everyone loves him. Gentleman-like ground manners, he is easy to haul, to shoe, keeps quiet in the barn and turns out with others. He is a great family horse that is kind and excellent-minded.
