Win under the judges and against the clock! This flashy 5-year-old palomino gelding is bred exactly how we like them—by the leading sire MP Jet To The Sun and out of a High Brow Cat-bred mare. “Dijon” has the pedigree, the look, and most importantly, the talent to back it all up. We have had a lot of success with his brothers, and he might be the best yet!

Rodeos, Futurities, Ropings. He is THE goods as a head horse, also a heel horse. Quick and flat across the line, he has the timing that they have to be born with; he scoots without kicking to a steer, yet easily rates off, with a good move across the pen and big finish! He has the feel everyone is looking for in a highly sought-after head horse. He’s not average; he is a bar setter. That being said, if you’re a lower number looking to up your game, Dijon will teach you. He has the athleticism and cow sense you expect from this cross, paired with the mind and willingness to make a serious rope horse.

A family guy too, Dijon has been ridden by many riders; he is a smooth ride, neckreins, moves off leg pressure, and rides in the bridle. He has a lot of personality and is always ready to take on any task you ask him to do.

Beyond the arena, Dijon is the kind of multi-faceted, versatile gelding that is hard to find. He is a true, real-world ranch horse with the experience and handle to go to work—having been doctored, sorted, and branded. Whether it is covering country, handling cattle in close quarters, or stepping up to do a job when asked, he has the cow sense, athleticism, and a willing attitude to be a valuable asset on the ranch.

When the work is done, he is just as enjoyable to ride outside the arena. Dijon is a gentle, trustworthy trail horse that has seen a wide variety of country and terrain, from the high country of Montana to the wide-open deserts of Arizona. He is confident, steady, and comfortable navigating new places, making him the kind of gelding you can enjoy on a long trail ride, use for a day’s work, and then haul to the jackpot or show pen.

Stylish, talented, and always honest, Dijon blends performance and kindness in a way that is increasingly hard to find. This upper-level head horse is ready to go and win!
