Trooper is as dapper and handsome as his grandsire. He has a sleek black mane and tail, with kind eyes and a gorgeous head; he is flawlessly built and is broke, broke, broke with or without a saddle or even a bridle!

Trooper is superb in so many ways. He is a natural cow horse, and it is self-evident, with how confident he can read and handle cattle in and out of the arena. Super easy to ride with a nice neck rein, gliding trot, a cadenced loper, smooth turn around, pretty circles, and a straight and loose backup. Trooper has a pretty natural carriage and the skill set to clean up in the Ranch Versatility Classes.
He is always ready for a trip to town. He enjoys walking downtown, visiting with the tourists and shops, and even holding up traffic to say a quick hello. In his pastime he has flown a kite, walked through fire, worked with dogs, navigated heavy traffic, blowing tarps and heavy machinery, and has even worked a buffalo or two. He’s okay with it all.

A foreman’s best friend Trooper is a finished ranch horse, sorting, doctoring, branding, and will work a rope! He’s a smooth ride outside in rough country, up and down mountain trails, and across the desert. On the trails, he crosses water, logs, and bridges, ridden alongside bikes, dogs running underfoot, and a drone flying overhead. He is a great navigator on the trails from AZ to MT and everywhere in between. Proving himself as an exceptional head horse, he is loaded with cow, can shift gears, get you to one quick, and then collect himself and drag his tail in the dirt. He enjoys his people time and is as quiet as a church mouse while be groomed. He is great to haul and gets along being tied and with other horses in a pasture or in a stall. Trooper is exceptional.
