Luxury in Motion

Everyone is captivated by MERCEDES. Like the name he carries, he is luxury in motion—sleek, refined, powerful, and unforgettable. He is a lustrous bay gelding, and because of his undeniable presence, he turns heads before he ever takes a step. What truly sets him apart is the rare combination of breathtaking beauty, proven performance, and the kind, generous heart we value most in the TPH family.

A Trusted Member of Our Family with Accomplishments That Define Him

MERCEDES brings a long list of real, verifiable accomplishments and has been part of our family since he was three years old. From the beginning, his conformation, eye appeal, and commanding way of going set him apart. In addition, he was shown at the 2025 AQHA World Show in Senior Ranch Riding and Working Western Rail. His AQHA show record includes Ranch Trail, Ranch Riding, Working Western Rail, and Senior Heeling. Plus, he qualified for the 2026 AQHA World Show in Open Heeling.

He is smooth and simple to maneuver. He lopes off softly with beautiful lead changes, a cadenced turnaround, a fluid Texas trot, and a stop that makes you sit up and smile.

Because he has been hauled across the country, he performs with confidence in every setting. In the arena, he is fancy, willing, and versatile. He shines in ranch riding, reining, roping, heading, heeling, and Working Western Rail.

For example, if you have wanted to step your toe into the reining world, MERCEDES gives you the feel, the buttons, and the confidence to learn. His polished handle also carries beautifully into the English saddle. He is every bit as breathtaking there—and yes, MERCEDES loves to jump.

And when it comes to roping, he delivers on both ends. Looking for a head horse and a heeling horse but can only haul one? Then, MERCEDES is the switch‑ender you’ve been searching for. He is fun and easy to rope on, and he lets you get forward, see feet around the corner, or find horns out of the box. Plus, he brings style and smoothness to every run.

A Pedigree Built for Excellence

A pedigree that speaks for itself. MERCEDES is sired by Not Ruf At All, an Open Futurity and Derby Champion with earnings over $400,000. His dam, Mercedes Dot Tari, is an accomplished and award‑winning NRHA mare. This cross gives MERCEDES the structure, athleticism, and trainability that make him a standout in any program.

A Horse for Every Setting

Beyond the show pen from downtown streets and Montana mountain trails to Arizona deserts and show pens across America, MERCEDES travels with class and confidence. He enjoys cattle, handles himself quietly, and has done real ranch work—sorting, gathering, branding, and helping wherever needed. He remains exceptionally tolerant in the barn, pasture, stall, and trailer.

With impeccable manners, kindness, and top-shelf quality, Mercedes is a once-in-a-lifetime gelding who will suit many people and families. He has passed all sale and veterinary standards with flying colors, and we would love to share his remarkable personality with you—come try him.
