Huckleberry is a 5 yr old gelding standing 15 hands weighing 1300 lbs. He’s got an outstanding confirmation with heavy muscle and a big bone. Huckleberry is a barn favorite, whether you’re trail riding, roping, pleasure riding in the arena, or ranching outside he’s your guy. He may only be a 5 yr old but he’s got an old soul and has the temperament of a 15yr old. Huckleberry is fancy broke, he spins, stops off your seat, has the smoothest stride, and rides around on a draped rein. Huckleberry is gentle, laid back, and one of the most willing horses we have ever had. He’s smart, trainable and it’s almost like he’s just excited to learn. Huckleberry has been hauled around in the heading, he stands like a rock in the box, he runs hard to the cow, has a lot of natural rate, and a big fancy move. He’s easy and simple and we have yet to have someone rope on him that doesn’t just love him. Huckleberry has been used on the ranch to brand calves, gather pairs, doctor yearlings, and ride pens in the feed yard. He is cowy, athletic, and just a total pleasure to ride no matter the job. Huckleberry is quiet on the ground, he’s great for the farrier, hauls well, and he’s always in your pocket wanting your attention. He’s sound, healthy, and ready to be someone’s number one!
