ON MY RADAR "Radar"

Radar has been my number one go-to ranch horse for the past several years. He’s a true joy to have around – trust worthy and reliable with a friendly personality. This gelding is easy to catch, good to shoe, bathe, load and haul. Radar gets along well with other horses, stays very gentle with time off and is an easy keeper. He is one that will always stand out and get you noticed.
If you are looking for a stout made horse who pulls a deep cinch and is strong from the horn, Radar is the one. He’s great for roping and loading cattle in the trailer by yourself.
When it comes to team roping, Radar is a finished head horse that’s been hauled extensively to the jackpots, including Wrangler ropings, local jackpots and some in Arizona. He’s good in the box, easy to handle cattle on, and faces well.
Radar has also been used in grand entries, ranch rodeos, as well as all the jobs on the ranch including gathering big country and doctoring cattle outside. He shines in the branding pen where he has dragged a lot of calves in addition to head and heel brandings.
His kind demeanor and ability to watch a cow makes him my first choice for calving, especially on cold, late nights.
When traveling outside, Radar goes through water, crosses downfall, and handles steep, rough terrain well. He is used to dogs, ropes, slickers and lots of action.
This guy is really gentle, safe to be around, and I am extremely proud to offer him.
