Hash brown also has just as strong of a maternal side, he is out of Smart Alice Louise earner of over $47k in the NCHA and producer of over $85k.

This is the kind of horse anyone can go show, no trainer needed. He is smart on a cow, with big strong stops and all the expression and style you need. He is easy to prepare and consistent and solid in the show pen. Hash brown is the horse responsible for letting our little ones fall in love with the cutting. He is absolutely youth and novice suitable, and has carried them through their first few real runs on the flag and on a cow as well as some local shows. He is the real deal in every sense. To top it off, he is just as solid on the outside! Whether you’re gathering cattle, shipping, sorting pairs, or doctoring in the pasture, this gelding is top tier and always delivers when you call on him! He’s got that ideal mix of talent and temperament — quick-footed and athletic when asked, but quiet and gentle enough for anyone to get along with. Hash brown is just as versatile as he is talented. He’s packed an English saddle around some small jumps with our 8 yr old little girl and been the horse our two boys ride through all the canyons and rivers when we go out for fun trail rides. He’s easy to ride bareback, double, triple whatever you please. Hash brown has been trained to curbside mount so anyone can easily crawl aboard and enjoy him.

That’s not all! He is stellar to steer stop in the arena and would be a fun horse to show in the Versatility Ranch horse classes. He has a stylish long trot, smooth lead departures and a cute turn around. But his stop is his strength. This horse is buttery soft and will bury his hind end when asked. We have even shot guns off of Hash Brown and had him around semis, trains, and other loud equipment. He always meets you at the gate with pleasing on his mind and it doesn’t matter if you are an advanced showman or a stone-cold beginner you will appreciate this high caliber horse!
