EARL GRAY is a gorgeous steel grey who is smooth, warm, steady and a teacher! In the arena, he is Heading, Heeling, Breakaway, Ranch Versatility, Parades, and Cow Work! Out of the arena anywhere – anytime from the desert to the mountains to any task you need completed on the ranch!
We are excited to share Earl Gray with you, as Everyone who knows him is always excited to ride him!
Like a warm, comforting blanket on a cool summer night, Earl Grey is that for us! Uniquely colored, he is a gorgeous dark grey gelding with a stout, compact conformation. He’s a one-stop shop for a working cowboy, yet the perfect family horse. He is fancy enough for the ranch foreman but gentle and safe for the little buckaroos! Earl Grey is a trustworthy and reliable partner.
He is such a nice Head, Heel & Breakaway gelding – he is a GREAT all-around rope horse and has taught many “how to rope.” Perfect for the Jr & High School Rider looking for just one horse to do it all. He scores exceptionally well, reads cattle great with rate, and has a snappy face. He has been tied onto heeling; he is strong from the horn and stops smoothly and square.
Earl Grey has a reined Cow-horse foundation. Very well trained in arena Ranch Versatility, Ranch Cutting, and Ranch Trail Show, he spins and lopes so smoothly has a deep stop and is comfortable to ride! He makes mounting easy as he is trained to curbside mount. He will ride just as slow as you would like to go…. patient and forgiving.

If you’re looking for a fun and great trail horse who rides out alone and, in a group, even with an extended period off, Earl Grey is your guy.
Rides great outside in giant pastures with a ground-covering trot & very sure-footed. Willingly side-passes to open any gate and ground ties where you drop a rein. On the trails and the ranch, he pays great attention and takes care of his riders.  From the hustle and bustle of city streets to the deserts of Arizona and the mountains of Montana, Earl Grey is the best guide to keep you safe.
He is a sweet, kind, fun horse to own & loves his people. He has been a pleasure to ride and train with, thanks to many fun buttons. Go ranch, rope, cut, or have a superstar trail horse.
